So me and Scoot took a trip to Ak this Saturday to goto Lazer Quest. Yea, I'm a dork. And what would have been an otherwise quirky, fun date turned all bad when I said I was gunna make my codename the ex-boyfriend's name. Oops.

But before that mishap we went to the mall. And there it was sitting all alone at the Gap. A denim shirt. Lol. Hell yeah! I got it. It's sexy, It's comin back. Get ready!

Grammys + The Smack Down

Last night was the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. I was highly disappointed when Robert Plant and Alison Krauss kept stealing Grammys from deserving artists. "Paper Planes" lost Record of the Year to these two randoms. Then I was mad when "Swagga Like Us" won in the category where M.I.A. doesn't count, and lost in the category where she gets writing credit to "Lollipop"! PISSIN ME OFF.

Did you know...Chris Brown beat Rihanna down? They were leaving the Pre-Grammy party Saturday night, when I was out kicking it when he I guess got it poppin on Rihanna's forehead. A witness called the police "Chris Brown just kicked Rihanna's ass." he was arrested, and bail was set at $50,000 (LA made that money). He posted and now he has to do some major PR and she has to make an album about how she overcame domestic violence...it'll make MILLIONS...not to mention the tell-all book. U go Rihanna. Gettin beat up was the best thing you've done since get that hair cut.

So, I love anything that has anything to do with M.I.A., sad but true.
So I was watching youtube over the summa summa summa summa summa summa and I found out about this dude who makes these crazy, loud, unconventional, ethnic clothes. He calls himself Official Tourist [Webiste: isthatot.com] He makes these hoods (yea, hoods), and they're hot fire. I really really want one. My favorite on the website is betweenxt Atari Safari and Zulu. Ch Ch Check it out...

So I got this paper due on Wednesday. We're researching scholarly journalism articles. My subject is: The Growth/Populaity of New Artists through Blogs. Obvliously, this will have to be tewaked b/c that's so specific and I'd have to write that article before i find one about it.
*Also, I have to write a 200 word essay in Espanol about how my ancestors immigrated to the U.S., why they did, and how they liked it. Umm...the concept of this essay is coo. "Yay, history!" but the fact that I'm descended from slavery is really fucked up, and its funny that I have to write this essay. I dunno. Love Spanish tho.
